The Dog Days of Summer

RumiRubQuoteWow, I can’t believe summer is over.  It’s been kind of a rough one for me.  I transitioned into a new job after being catapulted out of my old one, grew my freelance design business, and picked up my healing practice.  I’ve had to be more proactive this season with my freelance design business working with so many new clients and discovering ways to develop my design skills and art direction.  It’s really been a pleasure working with new concepts with people and their businesses.  One of the best ways I can use my creative gifts is by helping people realize their image and branding.

I also started to book more reiki sessions with new clients and practice theta healing. It’s been an eye opening experience being able to go into people spaces and facilitate their healing process.  I have gone through waves of energy and transformation channeling this energy and I know it’s only the beginning. I had to go through minor lifestyle changes, like no drinking and eating a lot of red meat, which I really don’t miss that much anyway (except those dirty martinis with blue cheese olives).

All in all, it’s been a great summer and I am grateful for the growth and development I had the opportunity to go through.  Onward and Upward.

P.S. – RIP Joan Rivers.  Hope you are in peace beaming on a red carpet in the sky…
