I bought Madonna's new album 'Americal Life' yesterday and it rocks! Musically, it is right up my alley -- electro-dance pop baby! If you get it, listen to Track 5, it's phenomenal - I keep playing it. OK Maddy, maybe I'll forgive you for the 'American Life' video - and maybe I'll even grow to like it after all this war tension. Anyway, if you by chance come across this blog, I just want to let you know that I'm glad you're around. Cheers.

I went to see Groove Armada at the Park West this past Saturday. They totally rocked the house! It's really inspiring to see musicians using the digital medium. It really urges me to learn my craft well.

Kurdish guerrillas have begun to pull back from the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk which they seized from Saddam Hussein's regime on Thursday. Read the story
I'm sorry, but this was just too funny. I had to post a link to this article about Bush's address to the Iraqi people. Way to go Bush! Now let's really start helping these people. I am giving the United States the benefit of the doubt. I hope we handle this well.

I saw Madonna's new video for "American Life" last night. I didn't know whether or not I should be offended or inspired. That's kind of a weird thing to say. Well, the majority of the video takes place in a runway show with models dressed up as soldiers. What was a bit disturbing were the larger than life screens displayed as the backdrop of the catwalk playing footage of bombs exploding. Every now and then a glammed-up Madonna dressed in a military uniform would flash on the screens as she sings the chorus to "American Life". I am inspired because of her guts and vision; but as an American, I was a bit offended. No wonder she didn't release the video in the U.S.A. You go Madonna! Take advantage of the capitalist society that you live in. I guess when it all comes down to it all the really matters is banking on something. It's easy to make such opinionated statements when you are living large on the other side. Pretty ironic how we make a mockery of the same soldiers who have fought for our freedom. Don't get me wrong! I am the biggest Madonna fan. So, I guess what I am trying to say is that if her goal was to make me feel digusted about her video, then she succeeded.
